UCM Announces 麻豆传媒 Powered by Everbridge as New Alert System

The 麻豆传媒 (UCM) strives to provide a safe campus environment for all students, employees and visitors. As part of these efforts, UCM is transitioning from TextCaster to 麻豆传媒 powered by Everbridge as its emergency alert system. 


麻豆传媒 are notifications sent via email, text message and push notification to members of the campus community. They provide essential information about campus closures, safety alerts, emergencies, severe weather and other significant UCM updates.

鈥淐ommunication is a vital part of creating a safe campus environment, and the new 麻豆传媒 system provides us with increased capabilities to share critical information with employees, students and the public,鈥 said Chief Bill Brinkley, director of UCM Public Safety.


UCM students, faculty and staff are automatically enrolled in the new 麻豆传媒 system to receive notifications about campus closures, safety alerts, emergencies, severe weather and other significant UCM information. They can also choose to receive notifications from additional categories by visiting the .


Parents, campus visitors, community members and others who wish to receive essential information from 麻豆传媒 can opt in to receive notifications by texting 鈥溌槎勾解 to 333111. To subscribe to additional categories, the public should visit the .


UCM students, faculty and staff can also receive notifications through the Everbridge 360 app. The public can receive notifications through the Public Safety by Everbridge app by searching for 鈥淯CMO.鈥 Both can be downloaded for free in the Apple App Store or Google Play.


As the academic year progresses, 麻豆传媒 will utilize additional Everbridge features. The campus community will be notified of these updates as they become available.
